Power Options: The digital food scale can be powered by 3 AA batteries or the included adapter, providing long-term power supply. It will automatically shut off after 10 minutes of inactivity.

Turning On/Off: To turn on the digital kitchen scale, simply press the button. When the scale is on, press the button to tare, and hold it down for a while to turn the scale off.

Tare Function: The tare function allows you to place a dish on the weighing platform and reset the scale to zero, so you can weigh new items without removing the previous ones.

Units: The food scale offers three units of measurement: grams, ounces, and pounds. You can press the "UNIT" button to switch between these units.

Baker's Percentage: To use the baker's percentage feature, place a bowl on the weighing platform and press [TARE]. Add the first ingredient (flour) to the bowl. Once the 100% flour is established, hold the [UNIT] button for a while. The display will then show "%" at the bottom and "100" in the middle. Unload the flour, and the display will show 0%. Add the next ingredient, and the percentage will increase accordingly. Repeat this process until all ingredients are weighed. Press [TARE] to clear the reading.
